The wireless remote control is powered by a type “23A” 12 V battery.
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give
rise to hazards such as short-circuiting,
fi
re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be
modi
fi
ed or converted!

remote control transmitter emits only relatively weak wireless signals, these may
lead to malfunction of life-support systems. The same may be the case in other
areas.
• The product must not get damp or wet!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where com-
bustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!

Controls
1 Keypad for switching channels 1 to 4 (left column “ON”
= On, right column OFF = Off)
2 Slide switch for 4 switch groups
There are a total of 16 wireless receivers (eg, radio
controlled socket) which can be programmed. The 16
wireless receivers are divided into 4 control groups:
1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16
3 “ALL-ON” button
By pressing this key, all recipients in the selected
groups are activated / switched on.
4 “ALL-OFF” button
By pressing this key, all recipients in the selected
groups are deactivated / switched off.
5 LED lights up when the button is pressed
6 Battery compartment on the back, for a type “23A”
battery
Inserting/Replacing the Batteries
• Open the battery compartment (6) on the back of the remote control.
• Insert a type “23A” battery into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (see
the plus/+ and minus / - label in the battery compartment and on the battery,) ..
• Close the battery compartment.
• A battery change is required if the range of the radio remote control decreases signi
fi
cantly or
the LED (5) does not light up anymore when the buttons are pressed.
Operation
a) Programming a radio receiver to the remote control
☞
Up to 10 different remote controls can be programmed for each wireless receiver of
the RSL-system.
• Use the slide switch (2) to select the desired switch group.
• Shift the radio receiver (e.g. a wireless incoporated switch, a radio-controlled socket or the
like) to programming mode. Please refer to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usu-
ally press the button on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED begins
to
fl
ash on the radio receiver).
• Hold down the “ON” key of one of the four channels on the remote control (3 seconds) until
the light stops
fl
ashing on the wireless receiver and instead remains lit. The load connected
to the radio receiver is switched on. Now release the button, and the progamming mode is
fi
nished. The wireless receiver has been programmed to the desired control channel of the
radio remote control.
b) Delete the wireless receiver which has now been programmed from the
remote control
• Use the slide switch (2) to select the desired switch group.
• Shift the radio receiver (e.g. a wireless incorporated switch, a radio-controlled socket, etc.) to
the programming mode. Please refer to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usually
press the button on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED begins to
fl
ash on the radio receiver).
☞
Thus, you can simultaneously press the “ON“ and ”OFF“of the channel on the re-
mote control and hold for 3 seconds and the (already programmed) wireless re-
ceiver that you want to delete is switched to programming mode.
This can be used for example when a wireless wall switch is mounted out of reach
and you cannot reach the buttons.
• Press and hold the “OFF” key of the channel to which the wireless receiver is programmed on
the remote control for (3 seconds) until the light stops
fl
ashing on the wireless receiver and
remains lit instead. The load connected wireless receiver is switched off, and the program-
ming mode ends.
The allocation of the radio receiver to the appropriate channel of the wireless remote control
is deleted, the wireless receiver no longer responds to the remote control.
