Maintenance and Belt Adjustment:
Clean:
General cleaning or the unit will greatly prolong the treadmill’s life.
Keep treadmill
clean by dusting regularly. Be sure to clean the exposed part of the deck on either side of
the walking belt and also the side rails. Reduce the buildup of foreign material underneath
the belt by wearing clean shoes.
Warning: Always unplug the treadmill from electrical outlet before removing the
motor cover, cleaning, or servicing the unit.
At least once a year remove the motor
cover and vacuum under the motor cover.
BELT AND DECK LUBRICATION
This treadmill is equipped with a pre-lubricated, low maintenance deck system. The belt/
deck friction play a major role in the function and life of your treadmill, thus requiring
periodic lubrication. Treadmill lubricant is readily available online and elsewhere.
Periodically inspect the deck for optimal performance.
We recommend lubrication of the deck according to the following timetable:
Light use (less than 3 hours/ week) - Annually
Medium use (3-5 hours/ week) - Every six months
Heavy use (more than 5 hours/ week) - every three months
NOTE:
Any repairs require a professional technician.
If treadmill is in use for 2 hours without stopping, be sure to power it down for at
least 10 minutes for continued optimal performance.
The belt may slip if too loose during use. If the belt is too tight, it may affect the
performance of motor and increase the abrasion of roller and belt. The belt can
be lifted away from the deck for around 50 — 75mm.
The treadmill belt may gradually shift to one side or another, and may feel “loose”
while walking. This can lead to premature wear and tear. Realigning the belt is
simple, all you need is an Allen wrench.
