Secure Boot

Opens  the submenu  for  configuring  Secure  Boot.

18.8.1 

Platform Mode

Shows whether the system is in user mode or setup mode.

User  

In user mode, the Platform Key (PK) is installed. Secure Boot can be enabled or disabled via the 

Secure Boot Control 

menu  

 

  option.

Setup  

In setup mode, the Platform Key (PK) is not installed. Secure Boot is disabled and cannot be enabled via the 

Secure Boot

menu option.
