Product description
The, intraoral scanner, Condor is used in dentistry for taking optical impressions of teeth on patients or models. This
method replaces the traditional, analogue, chemical based impressions.
This new technology distinguishes itself by its simplicity, ease of use, speed of execution and especially the generation
of Condor Open Files
Advantages
3.1.1.
•
Accuracy: eliminating problems related to material deformation.
•
The reproducibility: It is possible to reproduce the impression without limits.
•
The double impression: when an area is insufficiently scanned , it is possible to only re-scan this area
unlike with a conventional impression, which needs to be redone completely.
•
Time Gain: chairside and laboratory side by removing the plaster casting, wax modelling and lost wax
technique). This leads to a decrease in the number of sessions.
•
Patient comfort: it avoids the gag reflex in some patients, a shorter waiting time in the chair and the
patient spends less time with his mouth open.
•
the diversity of materials: In CAM, all dental materials, insofar as they are biocompatible and milled,
can be used.
CondorScan is an open system
3.1.2.
Working with digital technology is essential nowadays. To facilitate this integration into this new era, CondorScan
opted for the export of open files, such as STL and PLY (colour).
