Decommissioning/Disposal

Decommissioning/Disposal

9.1

Taking out of service

If the Condair RH-DS steam humidification system requires replacement or is no longer required, pro-

ceed as follows:
1.  Switch off the ventilation system and secure it against unintentional start-up.
2.  Shut the Condair RH steam humidifier down (see Condair RH installation and operation manual)

and, if necessary, wait until the components have cooled down sufficiently, so that there is no longer

a risk of burns.

3.  Have the Condair RH-DS steam humidification system (and all other system components if neces-

sary) removed by a specialist.

9.2

Disposal/Recycling

Components not used any more must not be disposed of in the domestic waste. Dispose of the compo-

nents of the Condair RH-DS steam humidification system according to the material in accordance with

local regulations at an authorised disposal collection point.
If you have any questions, please contact the relevant authority or your Condair representative.
Thank you for your contribution to the protection of the environment.
