Positioning the cooker
• The kitchen room must be dry and airy, and must have effective ventilation in accordance with the applicable
technical regulations.
• The room should be equipped with a ventilation system to remove fumes generated during burning. This installation
should include a ventilation grille or hood. Hoods must be installed in accordance with the operating instructions
supplied with them. The position of the cooker should guarantee free access to all controls.
• The room should also have a supply of air, which is necessary for proper burning (combustion) of the gas. The air
supply should not be less than 2 m³/h per 1 kW of burner output. Air can be supplied by direct flow from the outside
through a duct with a cross section of min. 100 cm², or directly from adjacent rooms, which are equipped with
ventilation ducts leading outwards.
• The furniture around the cooker must have a lining and an adhesive for gluing it resistant to a temperature of 100
°C. Failure to comply with this condition may cause the surface to deform or the lining to peel off. If we are not sure
about the heat resistance of the furniture, it is necessary to install the cooker with furniture at a distance of about 2
cm. The wall behind the cooker must be adapted to withstand high temperatures. During use of the cooker, its rear
wall may heat up to a temperature about 50 °C higher than the ambient temperature.
