Cleaning and maintenance of the hob
y
We recommend to use mild cleaning or washing-up liquids the label of which contain appropriate
recommendations, such as liquids and emulsions that remove grease. If there are no recommended
cleaning agents available, we recommend to use a solution of warm water with added dishwashing
detergent or undiluted cleaning agents.
y
To wash and clean the surface of the appliance, use soft, gentle and absorbent cloths.
y
Always wipe the ceramic glass hob dry after cleaning.
y
Take special care to avoid dropping metal lids or other sharp-edged objects on the hob as it may damage
the ceramic glass surface, create deep scratches and shards.
y
Clean the hob after each use. If possible, we recommend to wash the hob when it is warm (after the area
heat indicator goes out). Heavy soiling of the hob, especially soiling caused by food boiling over, must be
avoided.
y
Never use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents such as abrasive powders or pastes, scouring sponges,
pumice, scourers, etc. that could scratch the surface of the hob and irreversibly damage it.
y
Use a special sharp scraper to remove dirt that sticks firmly to the hob, taking care not to damage the
frame of the ceramic glass hob.

• - close the oven door,
• - set the temperature control knob to the position 50 °C, and the knob for selecting oven functions to the position
bottom heating,
• - heat the oven chamber for about 30 minutes,
• - at the end of the cleaning process, open the oven door, wipe the inside of the chamber with a sponge or cloth and
then wash with warm water with a small amount of dish-washing detergent.
