Always make sure that you aim the appliance at the treated area of the skin and that it is
touching it fully before releasing the pulse.
SETTING OF THE IPL EPILATOR
1. Remove the appliance and all its accessories from the box.
2. Plug the power adapter into the power adapter slot on the IPL epilator and plug the
adapter into a power outlet.
3. To switch on the device, press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds. You will hear
a faint fan noise.
4. The appliance is ready for use.
5. Select the intensity according to your skin type. Use the On/Off button to select the
desired intensity. For example, to go from level 1 to level 4, press the On/Off button
repeatedly until you reach the desired intensity. The appliance gradually increases the
intensity level from 4 to 5, then back from level 5 to levels 4, 3, 2 and 1.
6. Press the application surface of the appliance against your skin. Once the appliance is in
direct contact with the skin, the Ready indicator lights up.
7. The appliance is equipped with a mechanism that protects the eyes during use. The
contact sensor prevents the pulse from being released, until the application surface
of the appliance is in full contact with the skin. Therefore, always make sure that the
application surface is correctly applied to the skin.
8. Pulse release button - by pressing this button the appliance emits a pulse of light and
you may feel a slight sensation of heat or tingling.
9. Remove the epilator from the treated area of the skin.
10. Move the application surface to the next area of the skin you wish to treat. The pressure
marks left on the skin after using the epilator will help you to choose the right place to
apply the light pulse again, so as to avoid releasing two pulses at the same area or leaving
too much space between the treated areas. The appliance recharges immediately after
each pulse release. When the Ready indicator lights up (after skin contact), the appliance
is ready to release the next pulse.
11. After you finish the treatment, press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to switch
off the device.
12. To treat smaller areas of skin, attach the appropriate attachment with a smaller
application surface.
Warning:
Do not treat the same area of the skin more than once during one treatment
session. Re-treatment of the same area of the skin increases the risk of side effects.
MODES
PRECISION mode
The PRECISION mode allows safe treatment of the most inaccessible and sensitive areas, such
as your face, armpits, bikini line, etc. The appliance emits one-time pulses upon pressing the
Pulse release button.
GLISS mode (automatic)
Once the application surface of the appliance is properly applied to the skin, press and
hold the Pulse release button for 2 seconds to activate the GLISS mode. The indicator lights
up (flash icon). The pulses are thus automatically released continuously without the need
for further manipulation. You can therefore simply move the device on the skin without
interruption in a slow and continuous motion, without lifting it up and applying it to the
skin again.
After you finish the treatment, press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to switch off
the device.
The Gliss mode is suitable for users who already have some experience using the device. The
Gliss mode allows you to treat larger areas of skin, such as legs, back, arms, torso, etc., more
safely and quickly. Use the Precision mode to treat sensitive areas and facial skin.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN FUNCTION
The IPL epilator automatically switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity. If you want to restart
the appliance, press the On/Off button and set the required power.
COVERING OF THE TREATED SKIN
When releasing the pulses, proceed systematically in successive rows. This method ensures
better control of the pulses and helps you to cover the area better while preventing treating
the same area twice or releasing the pulses too close to each other.
The pressure marks left on the skin after using the epilator will help you to choose the right
place to apply the light pulse again, so as to avoid releasing two pulses at the same area or
leaving too much space between the treated areas. Avoid releasing more than one pulse on
the same area of the skin during one treatment session.
If burns or blisters appear on the skin, stop the treatment immediately.
FACE EPILATION
•
When releasing the pulse, do not look directly at the treated area of skin.
