When grilling with the fan
it is not necessary to pre-heat the oven. Grill with the oven door closed. When grilling
this way set the thermostat as needed within the range from 50 to 250°C. The distance between the food and the grill
heater must correspond to the required results:
- smaller distance for a brown surface and underdone inside,
- bigger distance for thorough roasting of the food.
To collect the drippings, put a pan with a little water under the food.
Advanced Functions of Baking
The advanced functions extend the baking possibilities and thus provide a more comfortable convenient use of the unit.
a) “BOOST” function – quick preheating
The “BOOST” quick preheating function may be selected only after selecting a baking function.
1. Switch on the unit by long pressing the ON/OFF symbol. If you do not select any functions after the switch-on, the unit
switches off automatically after several seconds.
2. Press the relevant symbol to select the required baking function.
3. Press the “-” and “+” symbols repeatedly to adjust the temperature to the required value.
4. Press the „BOOST“ symbol to activate fast preheating function. Other heaters will be switched on so that the oven
reaches the set temperature faster. The “°” symbol on the display blinks until the temperature inside the oven reaches
the set value. After the set temperature is reached, you will hear a beeping sound, the “°” symbol shines permanently
and the „BOOST“ function is automatically deactivated.
b) “CLEAN” function for cleaning the catalytic panels
Note
: The unit is equipped with catalytic panels on the sides of the oven’s interior. The surface of the panels is covered
with special microporous enamel which absorbs splattering grease during baking. Their service life is approximately
3 - 6 years (depending on the use of the oven). If this function is applied, the impurities caught are burned to ash, which
can be wiped off easily using a wet sponge. Use this function if you want to clean the grease deposited on the surface
of the catalytic panels.
The function can only be set if no other baking functions are running.
1. Switch on the unit by extended pressing of the ON/OFF symbol.
2. Press the „CLEAN“ symbol for 5 seconds to activate the function. The inside of the oven heats to a temperature of
250°C, where it remains for 1 hour.
After cooling, wipe any residues of impurities with a wet cloth or sponge very gently, so as not to damage the porous
surface.
Do not use any cleaners for cleaning the catalytic panels, otherwise their surface would be damaged.
The bottom and ceiling of the oven can be wiped with a damp cloth, soft brush or sponge. In the case of heavy dirt, use
hot water with a non-aggressive detergent.
WARNING!
When using this function, do not put any food in the oven.
Internal lighting
You can switch on or off the internal lighting using symbol during baking or when the oven is switched off (e.g. for
cleaning).
Due to energy savings reasons the lighting will be switched off automatically during baking 3 minutes after the set
temperature is reached, or 3 minutes after manual switch on.
d) Baking time adjustment
1. Put the food in the selected height position.
