PLAYBACK
INSTANT PLAYBACK
For quick review of recent footage, this feature allows the operator to bypass the search screen and
playback footage beginning five minutes earlier.
To use instant playback, press the
FORWARD PLAY
button, type the ADMIN password ‘1234’ and press
the
ENTER
button
Playback begins from 5 minutes earlier.
During instant playback, the
SHUTTLE WHEEL, JOG RING
and playback buttons can be used as
normal.
To stop playback and return to live view mode, press the
RETURN
button.
EVENT SEARCH
The VXM4 event log stores events such as motion and alarm activated recording, video loss etc.
To search for an event and playback the recorded footage, press the
SEARCH
button and log in as
ADMIN with the default password of 1234.
To display the event log screen, press the down
CURSOR KEY
to select SEARCH BY EVENT and press
ENTER
. Various filters can be used to limit the number of events displayed. Using the
CURSOR KEYS
and
ENTER
button, select the FROM and TO date / time and the events and channels required.
