Emergency Power Supply / Opening with an
external battery:
In case there is no power supply or the internal battery is
completely empty, You can use a 9V battery and connect
it to the two contacts shown in Image. You can find the
two contacts next to the keypad on the left side. To open
the safe with the external battery connected, proceed as
described in chapter 'Opening the safe'.
Please note make sure the polarity is correct and keep it
connected to the contacts of the safe until the safe is
completely open.
Emergency Power Supply
VERY IMPORTANT
If the safe has been opened after a power failure/ com-
pletely empty internal battery with the use of an exter-
nal battery, after the internal battery has been
replaced the electronic lock needs to be opened ac-
cording to the description shown in chapter 'Opening
the safe'.
Changing the battery:
The battery compartment can be found under the cover
on the inside of the door.
Loosen the screw and remove the cover.
Carefully remove the battery from the clip.
Put in a new battery (9V, E-block battery of the type
6LP3146) and close the battery compartment.
Secure the cover with the screw on the inside of the
door.
Important
We recommend the checking of the proper function of
the electronic lock a few times with the door opened
BEFORE closing the door of the safe.
Service:
Checking if the factory code has already been used.
- Press the Button „ON“.
- Press the Button „ENTER“.
- Press the Button „4“.
- Press the Button „ENTER“.
- Type in the service code „160400“.
- Press the Button „ENTER“.
If the electronic lock has been opened at least once using
a valid master code, after you press „ENTER“ you will
hear an acoustic signal repeated five (5) times and the
green LED will blink five (5) times.
If the electronic lock hasn't been opened in the past with
a valid master code, after you press „ENTER“ you will
hear an acoustic signal repeated five (5) times and the
red LED will blink five (5) times.
