Ratchet Handle & Sockets:

  5/8”, 9/16”, 3/4”, 1/2”

Cordless or electric drill w/bits as Follows:

  Phillips, 3/8” drill bit

1.  Select an area in your yard that is reasonably level and meets the space requirements for your equipment.  Ground

space: 17’ x 32’.  Play space: 21’ x 41’.

2.  Please refer to the outrigger assembly sheet and assemble your outrigger as instructed.

3.

Position the horizontal ladder in your yard where you want the unit to finally stand.  Measure and be certain that all

necessary clearances for the deck and swinging space are available in this position.

4.  Using a tape measure and marker, mark location of the Ladder and swing hangers along the 5’ top rail.  See the detail

on the front page of your installation instructions.  Set aside.

5.  With the horizontal ladder in position on the ground, locate and  mark the holes for the two upright ladders.  Move

the horizontal ladder out of the way and dig the holes for the upright ladders.  (See #1: Hole size for upright ladder)

6.  Lay each vertical ladder on the ground near the hole where it will eventually stand.  Make a mark 15” from the top

of the ladder onto each ladder rail.  Move the adjustable sleeves to these marks and position them to receive the hori-

zontal ladder by turning them to point at a 90 degree angle (towards what will become the inside of the structure)

away from the upright ladder.  Secure the set screws.

7.  Place the 8’ vertical ladder that will be used to access the Playhouse deck into its hole.  The ladder rungs should be

positioned to allow for access into the Playhouse.

8.

Place the outrigger out of your way and about 10’ away from where the unit will finally stand.

9.  Using a tape measure and marker, mark the locations on the outrigger for the swing hangers and the ladder.

10. Assemble swing hangers as shown on the swing hanger assembly sheet and attach to the out rigger as instructed.

(Hint: Do not attach the swing hangers at the end of the out rigger until after it is inserted into the ladder top sleeve).

11. Turn the outrigger  upside down on the ground.  Install the legs into the triple end as shown in: #3 A-Frame Leg As-

sembly.

12. Lay the vertical ladder onto the ground with the bottom of the ladder just over the hole where it will eventually stand.

13. Slide the out rigger into the ladder top sleeve.  Using two strong adults, stand the unit up and allow the ladder to fall

into the hole previously dug.  Check to make sure that the outrigger is still in its proper place inside the ladder top

sleeve.  Adjust as necessary by holding onto the ladder securely and pushing or pulling the “A” frame section caus-

ing the outrigger to slide inside the top sleeve of the ladder.  When you are satisfied that the outrigger is in its proper

position, securely tighten the set screws in the top sleeve of the ladder.  The unit will not be level at this point.  Adjust

and straighten the unit in the play space as desired.

14. Mark the holes for the A-frame legs.  Hint: Keep most of the hole to the inside of the leg.

15. Dig the holes and place the legs in the holes.

16. Using two strong adults, lift the horizontal ladder and slide it onto the adjustable sleeves of the ladder that is away

from the Playhouse end of the structure.  Secure the set screws.

17.  Bring the other vertical ladder up to the horizontal ladder and insert the adjustable sleeves as before.  Secure the set

screws.  See  #4 horizontal ladder connection to upright ladder.   Hint: Do not push the overhead ladder tight against

the vertical ladders.  Leave a ½” to 1” gap between the vertical ladder rails and the overhead ladder.  This will allow

for easier adjustment of the overhead ladder in the future.

18. Insert the 5’ top rail into the top sleeve of the vertical ladder that will be used to access the Playhouse deck.

19. Refer to: Playhouse Assembly and Installation Instructions.  Assemble the Playhouse deck and structure, and position

the deck as shown.

20. Attach the slide as shown on the slide assembly sheet.

21. Attach any additional climbers as may be necessary.

22. Using a hammer, install the 2-3/8” plugs into the open ends of the top rails.
