5.8  MultiBay Devices

Removing MultiBay Devices

1.  Save all work, exit all applications, and shut down the computer.

2.  Remove the media (diskette, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM) from the drive. Be sure the

drive tray is closed.

3.  Tilt the computer at an angle

 so the bottom of the computer is accessible

(Figure 5-10).

4.  Slide the MultiBay release latch

5.  Pull the device out of the MultiBay
