Installing a Hard Drive into a Removable Media Bay

IMPORTANT:

If you are installing a hard drive into a removable media drive bay, you

must use a drive tray. Drive trays are found in each removable media bay. See “Removing
a Drive Tray” earlier in this chapter.

To install a hard drive using a drive tray:

Follow the steps in “Preparing the Server” earlier in this chapter.

Set the drive into the drive tray

Tighten the four screws on the bottom of the drive tray to secure the

drive into the drive tray
