Rear-facing

- Shoulder harness straps

Removal of shoulder harness straps:

a. Buckle shoulder harness and unbuckle chest clip.
b. Remove shoulder harness straps.

1. Lengthen shoulder harness straps to maximum length.

- From front of car seat, grasp shoulder harness

straps

- While pressing down on harness adjuster, pull

shoulder harness straps out as far as possible.

2. Rotate car seat into rear-facing position, see “Changing

Car Seat Use Position” section

3. Remove harness shield from back of car seat

- Pull tabs at top and bottom corners of harness shield

out of slots in car seat.
