Pull out on Recline Adjustment Foot
Panel and reposition the Recline
Adjustment Foot as required

Locate the Recline Adjustment Foot
position that provides the proper
installation angle for the Base and
release the Recline Adjustment
Panel to lock the Recline Adjustment
Foot in place.
Check position of Recline Indicator,
continue to adjust until Yellow Patch
is centered in the window indicating
the proper recline and then proceed
with securing the base in the vehicle.
If recline foot is in the full retracted
position and red is still visible in the
window, go to step 6.

Adjusting level of base to eliminate red
visible in window, use a firmly folded
towel or thin blanket to level base
(fig. f)

Folded blanket or towel must be folded at
least 4 in. (10 cm) wide and 12 in. (30 cm)
long and the thickness required to properly
level base. Thickness of folded towel or
blanket must not exceed 1 in. (2.5 cm).
Place folded towel or blanket under base
near front edge of vehicle seat
