Troubleshooting guide
The percolator will
not switch on.
• Check that the mains lead is properly plugged into
a wall socket.
• Is the wall socket live?
• Make sure that the percolator is sitting properly
on the base.
• Check the mains lead for damage.
The coffee is too
weak or too strong.
• The percolator is still warm from previous brewing or
cleaning. Let it cool down before using it again.
• Something is blocking the tube.
• The washer at the bottom of the tube is stuck.
• Hard water, use a darker roast of coffee.
• The coffee was brewed using warm water.
