9.3. Fault code conditions.
Fault Condition:
If during HW & R operation, a RED Lamp is illuminated on the control
panel, then a fault condition as indicated in the Table below has occurred and the
appropriate remedial action will be necessary. Switch the HW & R OFF and allow it to cool
Replenish water if boil dry condition is evident, or action vehicle battery charging as and
when appropriate.
In the event of an error, the HW & R locks out with the heaters turned off. There are several
possible causes of an error condition. The error code is indicated by the number of red
flashes given out by the front panel LED.

1
Input power is under voltage. Charge vehicle battery. Check output voltage
is within supply voltage range.
2
Input power is over voltage. Check output voltage is within supply
voltage range.
3
Boil Dry detected.
Switch off the HW & R to cool. Refill with
fresh potable water.
4
Electronics over temperature. Switch off the HW & R to cool. If fault is
repeated have HW & R serviced.
(Fault most likely in ambient
conditions over 35°C when
used continuously).

sufficient time in off position).
Turn HW & R switch to off position
and restart after 5 seconds.
If multiple errors occur, only one is reported. The first true error in the following list will
override any following faults.
(8) Pcb Thermistor open circuit.
(7) Heater block Thermistor open circuit.
(6) Vessel – bottom Thermistor open circuit.
(9) Illegal switch change.
(4) Electronics over temperature.
(3) Boil Dry detected.
(2) Input power is over voltage.
(1) Input power is under voltage.
