9.2.39. Fit the cover onto the main case ensuring that it is properly closed and
secured by the latch.
9.2.40. Temporarily invert the HW & R to allow the food service disinfectant/heated
water solution to reach all internal surfaces then return it to the upright position.
Note: Allow the HW & R to stand upright for a minimum period of 20 minutes
before proceeding to step (9.2.41).
9.2.41. Unlatch and remove the cover then remove the inner container and discard
the food service disinfectant/heated water solution.
9.2.42. Using the pull-action tap, drain-off the food service disinfectant/heated water
solution from the outer container.
9.2.43. Half-fill the outer container with clean, potable water and rinse off all traces of
food service disinfectant.
9.2.44. Flush the pull-action tap by draining-off the outer container rinse water into a
receptacle of suitable capacity and discard.
9.2.45. Rinse the inner container in clean, potable water to remove all traces of food service
disinfectant.
9.2.46. Allow the cover and both containers to air dry.
9.2.47. On the cover, unblock the small steam hole in the seal retaining plate.
9.2.48. Fit the HW & R in the host vehicle, connect the power supply cable to the control
panel. Turn on the power supply.
9.2.49. Return the HW & R to normal service.
