Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and then
save it for future reference. We reserve the right for any errors in text or images
and any necessary changes made to technical data. In the event of technical

Safety
• The thermometer must not be dismantled or modified in any way.
• The thermometer is only intended for indoor use. Do not expose it to
moisture.
• The thermometer is not intended to be used as a reference thermometer
and Clas Ohlson will not be held liable for any damage which may result
from inaccurate readings.
• The batteries should be removed from the thermometer if it is not to be
used for an extended period, otherwise they might leak and damage
the thermometer. Never leave discharged batteries in the battery
compartment.
• The max and min readings will be deleted whenever the batteries are
removed.
• The thermometer must never be subjected to shocks or impacts.
NOTE:
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.
Do not mix alkaline, regular or rechargeable batteries.

Installation
Thermometer
1. Remove the battery cover (14) to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately) observing the polarity
markings in the battery compartment.
3. Refit the battery cover.
4. Choose where the thermometer is to be placed:
-
Standing on a flat surface using the table stand (15).
-
Hanging on a wall using the hanging slot (13).
Sensor
1. Slide the battery cover (18) down to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately) observing the polarity
markings in the battery compartment.
3. Click the battery cover back into place.
4. Hang the sensor on a wall outside using the hanging slot (17).
Operating instructions
Temperature display
The thermometer should receive data from the sensor and display
the temperature within 3 minutes of the batteries having been inserted in both
devices.

Troubleshooting
section if there is a problem.
1. Press [ SET/ºF/ºC ] (12) to select ºC or ºF.
2. Press [ MAX/MIN/+ ] (11) to display the max or min temperature. The display
will return to displaying the current temperature after a few seconds.
3. Press and hold [ MIN/MAX/+ ] for a few seconds to reset the max/min
temperature readings.
Temperature trend
The temperature trend arrow (7) points in different directions depending
on whether the latest temperature reading is higher or lower than previous
readings.
• Arrow angled upwards = Temperature has risen.
• Horizontal arrow = No temperature change.
• Arrow angled downwards = Temperature has fallen.
Setting the time
1. Hold down [ SET/ºF/ºC ] for 2 seconds until the hours begins to flash.
2. Press [ MIN/MAX/+ ] to select a 12 hr or 24 hr display.
3. Press [ SET/ºF/ºC ] so that the hours begin flashing.
4. Press [ MIN/MAX/+ ] to select the correct hour.
5. Press [ SET/ºF/ºC ] so that the minutes begin flashing.
6. Press [ MIN/MAX/+ ] to select the correct minutes.
7. Press [ MIN/MAX/+ ] to complete setting the time.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
The thermometer
doesn’t display
anything.
• Check the batteries in the thermometer and
sensor.
Temperature from
outdoor sensor not
displayed.
• Check that the distance between the thermo-
meter and sensor does not exceed 30 m.
• Make sure that the devices are located at least
2 m from monitors and TV sets.
• Avoid placing the devices on or close to window
frames made of metal.
• Avoid using electronic devices such as
loudspeakers which operate at the same
frequency (433 MHz), close to the devices.
• Check the batteries in the thermometer and any
connected sensors.
• Remove the batteries, wait awhile and then
reinsert them.
Displayed
temperature is
incorrect.
• Remove the batteries, wait awhile and then
reinsert them.
• Make sure that the devices are not affected by
heat sources or air-conditioning units and such.
