Appendix C: 2D Code Tutorial
Introduction
Included on your In-Sight CD-ROM with the In-Sight 1010 jobs are a Tutorial.job and ta
corresponding Tutorial.bmp image file. These should be loaded onto your In-Sight 1010 before
reading this tutorial.
Figure C-1 is an image of a dot-peen 2D matrix code on a metal surface. Although this is a very
degraded image, the software can successfully read the code. To read the code in Figure C-1,
the system requires the use of both the train model and filtering options.
