An encoder system based on 4 position indicators allows the
ProSpot LX
to return to its correct position if it is accidentally
moved during operation.
This is particularly useful if the projector is to be mounted on the floor in a position where the performer or artist or techni-
cian may accidentally bump the unit.
ProSpot LX
allows gobos to be replaced via a simple gobo retention spring system. Replacement gobos should be manu-
factured from either dichroic glass or metal. The
coemar
reseller network carries a wide range of replacement gobos.
Opening up the projector:
1) Using a Philips head screwdriver, remove the four screws located at both the front and rear of the projector head which
affix the top housing and those for the bottom housing, as shown in the diagram below:

Gobos may be replace as required to produce special effects as required.
Gobo replacement should always be carried out with the power to the unit shut off and the housing removed as describe
in section 16 “Maintenance”.
1) Rotate the gobo wheel until you locate the gobo you wish to remove.
2) Remove the retaining spring and remove and replace the
gobo.
3) Replace the retaining spring, ensuring that it is seated correctly.
