5.0 - Fuel Gauge Battery Status Indicators

Check the Battery Life

Press the fuel gauge button (Figure 11) to determine remaining battery life. If the battery has less then 10% capacity, the first LED will 
flash rapidly. For 25% or greater capacity, the LEDs will flash ON for 4 seconds.

If the battery has less then 10% capacity, the first LED will flash rapidly while charging. For 25% or greater capacity, the LEDs will flash 
ON for 4 seconds.

6.0 - Powering On/Off the Reader 

Press and hold either button located on the right or left of the arrow keys, or the trigger on handled configurations (Figures 12 and 13), 
for one second, to power on reader. The CR3600 will beep, vibrate and the LEDs will flash to indicate it is on and ready for use.

7.0 - Targeting the CR3600

Make sure the CR3600 screen is at the Ready prompt, hold the CR3600 4-8 inches away from the barcode and press one of the 
power/scan buttons or the trigger (Figure 14). The CR3600 will display data from the scanned barcode on its screen. (Figure 4)

The CR3600 will beep, vibrate and the good read indicator (Figure 19) will flash green 
to indicate a ‘good read’ has occurred.
