Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Phone won’t turn on
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Ensure the battery is inserted in the phone correctly.
- Check the copper battery terminals show no signs of
damage
Phone won’t make calls or send
text messages
- Check the SIM card is inserted into the phone
correctly. (See instructions on page 9)
- If your SIM card is on a prepaid service, check that
there is credit on your account by contacting your
network provider.
- Check the primary SIM is connected to the position
marked “SIM 1”
My music files won’t play
- Only MP3 and WAV format are supported. Check that
your files are in MP3 format or WAV format.
- Make sure that your music files are contained in the
folder marked “My Music” on your micro SD card
- Check the volume is turned up -If listening though
earphones, check they are functioning correctly
My video files won’t play
Only MP4, AVI and 3GP format are supported. Check
that your files are in MP4, AVI and 3GP format.
My phone doesn’t ring during an
incoming call
Check the profile is set to normal or outdoor. If the
profile is set to silent or meeting, then there will be no
ringtone. More information about profiles can be found
on page 19
How do I turn the torch off?
Flip the switch on the left hand side of the phone.
How do I activate the torch?
Use the dedicated switch on the left side of the mobile
phone. Slide the switch to activate the torch feature.
The alarm will not turn off
Open the flip phone and press the red phone button.
How do I stop the SOS function?
If you have accidentally pressed the SOS button, and
activated the SOS dialling feature, you can abort the
dialling sequence by opening the phone, and pressing
the red phone button
.
When pressing the keys in dialling
mode, each number is not read
aloud as I expected.
The audible number key tones feature can be modified
in the profile settings:
Navigate to Profiles>Profile name>Settings>Adjust
Volume>Key Read Volume. Adjust the volume level to
your desired level.
Tip: The currently active profile determines the
behaviour of your phone. It is shown with a green
dot to the right of its name in the Profiles menu. For
