SETTING SOS PHONE NUMBERS

 

1.   From the main menu, navigate to the Tools menu.

 

2.   Scroll down using the UP and DOWN navigation buttons until you reach    

 

      EmergNUM.

 

3.   Press the left side   button to access the selected menu.

 

4.   Scroll up and down the menu to view the currently programmed emergency  

 

      contact numbers. You can have up to 5 different emergency contacts.

 

5.   To edit an emergency contact number, scroll to it in the menu, then press the  

 

      left side 

  

  button to edit. 

 

6.   Use the keypad to edit the phone number, then press the left side

      

button to  

 

      accept the changes. 

 

7.   When you have completed editing the emergency contact numbers, press the  

 

      red phone 

 to return to the home screen.

Tip: The numbers programmed into the EmergNUM list should be phone numbers of close 

friends and family. You should discuss this feature with your friend or family member before 

entering their number into the EmergNUM menu. SOS calls to the emergency services (000, or 

112) are not allowed. Do not save 000 or 112 in the EmergNUM list.

SETTING UP SOS DIALLING

 

When enabled, pressing the emergency SOS button will automatically dial the  

 

number(s) in your EmergNUM list. It will cycle through the numbers in the list until  

 

cancelled or someone picks up the phone.

 

1.   From the main menu, navigate to the Tools menu.

 

2.   Scroll down using the UP and DOWN navigation buttons until you reach  

 

      SOS Ring.

 

3.   Press the left side   button to access the selected menu.

 

4.   To enable the SOS function, highlight Activate, then press the left side    

      

      button to confirm your selection.

C.  

SETTING UP SOS MESSAGING

 

You can customise the emergency SMS text that will be sent to your emergency  

 

contact list.

 

1.   From the main menu, navigate to the Tools menu.

 

2.   Scroll down using the UP and DOWN navigation buttons until you reach EmergMSG.

 

3.   Press the left side 

 

button to access the selected menu.

 

4.   Use the keypad to enter the text you would like to send when the SOS function  

 

      is activated.

 

5.   Press the left side   button to confirm your selection.

D.  

USING THE SOS BUTTON

 

1.   To use the Emergency SOS button, simply hold down the large SOS button on the  

 

      rear of the phone for 2 – 3 seconds.

 

2.   When the button is pushed, an alarm will sound.
