Amendment 4
6. Loosely connect the gas pipe from the flame
failure valve to the pilot assembly, at the flame
failure valve.
7. Loosely connect the gas pipe from the upper
'T' connection on the LH side of the gas valve
to the LH main burner.
8. Tighten up all gas connections.
9. Connect the thermocouple from the LH pilot
assembly to the rear of the flame failure valve.
10. Re-connect the overtemp leads (blue) from
the interrupter block on the gas control valve
thermocouple to the connections on the over-
temp.
11. Refit the front controller panel and secure with
4 screws.
12. Ensure that the gas controls sit centrally in the
cut-outs in the controller panel. Tighten the 2
screws securing the gas valve to the manifold
bracket.
13. Refit the front facia panel and secure with 2
screws.

6.2.10 Flame Failure Valve
Replacing the Flame Failure Valve:
1. Remove the front fascia panel (refer 6.1.1).
2. Remove the controller panel. (refer 6.1.1).
3. Remove thermocouple, gas inlet and outlet
pipes from the flame failure valve.
4. Undo the nut securing the flame failure valve
to the mounting bracket.
5. Remove the flame failure valve from the fryer.
6. Remove the elbow and adaptor from valve as
these will be fitted to the replacement valve.
7. Replace and re-assemble in reverse order.
NOTE:
When screwing thermocouple back into gas
control, once thread has tightened up tighten
another ¼ turn only. Do not over tighten.
