This fan is suitable for indoor, alfresco and
coastal areas. This product is IP66 rated
and can be exposed to powerful water jets
from any direction. This rating should be
maintained during installation.
CHANGING AN EXTENSION ROD
NOTE: When using extension rods, the lower edge of the fan
blades must be more than 2.1m above floor level in Australia and
more than 2.3m in Europe.
REPLACEMENT OF AN EXTENSION ROD:
1. Uninstall the ball joint, canopy, canopy bottom cover & the down rod joint cover from the fan assembly;
(Figure 10.1)
2. Replace the original down rod with the extended one. Connect the extended cable (provided with the
extension rod) to the wiring of the fan assembly (Fig. 10.2)
3. Install the down rod joint cover, canopy bottom cover, canopy & ball joint back to the fan assembly. Ensure
all the screws are tightened and secure. (Fig. 10.3)
