Troubleshooting guide
The air conditioner
will not start.
• Is it plugged into a wall socket?
• Is the wall socket live?
• Does error code “P1” appear on the display? If this is the case remove the lower drain cover
(8). Make sure that all water drains out.
• The room temperature is lower than the set temperature. Adjust the temperature using [

Insufficient cooling.
• Open windows or doors are allowing warm air in. Close all windows and doors.
• There are other sources of heat present in the room. Turn these off.
• The exhaust hose is not attached. See the
Connecting the exhaust hose
section.
• The temperature is set too high

Reduce the temperature.
• The air filter is clogged. See the
Care and maintenance – Cleaning the filter
section above.
Noise and vibrations
occur.
Make sure that the air conditioner is placed on a steady, even and level surface.
A gurgling sound
is heard.
This can often be explained by the movement of the coolant in the air conditioner.
This is completely normal.

E1
The temperature control sensor is out of service. Turn off the air conditioner, pull out the plug
and plug it in again. If this does not solve the problem and the error code appears again,
contact a qualified service technician.

E2
The evaporation sensor is out of service. Turn off the air conditioner, pull out the plug and plug it
in again. If this does not solve the problem and the error code appears again, contact a qualified
service technician.

E4
Incorrect or unreadable figures on the display. Turn off the air conditioner, pull out the plug and plug
it in again. If this does not solve the problem and the error code appears again, contact a qualified
service technician.

EC

Coolant leakage sensor out of service. Contact a qualified service technician.
Error code
P1
The lower water tank of the air conditioner is full. Unscrew the cover of lower drain hole (8) and
ensure that all water runs out. If this does not solve the problem and the error code appears again,
contact a qualified service technician.

Error codes are shown in order of priority E4-E2-E1-P1 when several error codes are displayed at once.
