Disposal of the appliance
This appliance must not be disposed of with regular
household waste! Dispose of the appliance in the
appropriate manner. For more information, consult
your community waste disposal service.
Disposing of fuels and lubricants
Waste fuels, waste oils, and materials containing oils
(air filter, rags, etc.) may not get into the environment.
– Bring waste materials that could damage the
environment to a collection point of the dealer or
in your community.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and
correspondingly marked plastics that can
be recycled.
– Make these materials available for recycling.

Spark plug is soiled (is the tip black-
ened with soot)?
Clean the spark plug.
Is the distance between the elec-
trodes of the spark plug too large?
Set the gap to 0.6 to 0.7 mm.
Wrong fuel or mixture?
Drain the tank and fill with the cor-
rect mixture.
Incorrect carburettor setting?
Have the carburettor adjusted.
Motor will not stop.
Spark plug: Is the electrode light
grey and does it show signs of com-
bustion?
Insert a spark plug with higher tem-
perature resistance.
Motor runs too quickly.
Motor is too cold?
Let the motor warm up slowly; if
necessary, set the choke lever
slightly higher.
Filament is too short?

Excessive formation of exhaust gas/

Wrong fuel mix?
Fill with stipulated fuel.
Carburettor mixture set incorrectly Have the carburettor adjusted.
