FRONT SUSPENSION

LUBRICATION
Two grease fittings (one in each spindle housing) are provided. Lubricate these fittings at the recommended interval
with the proper lubricant.
See Periodic Lubrication Schedules, Section 10, Page 10-6.
WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Wheel alignment is limited to equalizing the camber angle of each front wheel and adjusting toe-in of the front wheels.
There is also a drag link adjustment to equalize the turning radius in both directions.

NOTE:
Prior to making any front suspension adjustments, inspect components for wear and damage and repair or
replace as necessary.
Camber Adjustment
1.
Check each front wheel with a framing square. At the floor (or ground), there should be an equal amount of space
between each tire and the framing square
2.
Loosen, but do not remove, the four nuts (32) that secure the leaf spring (6) to the bottom spring plate (29)

Loosen, but do not remove, the hex nut (8) on the adjustment eccentric (7)
in the
center of the spring.

Use a 7 mm deep well socket to rotate the eccentric
.
5.
After adjusting camber, tighten the four spring retaining nuts (32)
to 23 ft·lb (31 N·m).
Then roll the vehicle forward one full tire revolution and recheck the camber. Adjust as required.
