Cleaning the Vehicle
1999 Carryall Gasoline Vehicle Owner’s Manual 29
CLEANING THE VEHICLE
The vehicle is equipped with an Armorflex® front body and an all-aluminum rear body and cargo bed. Use
only mild dishwashing liquid soap with a sponge or soft cloth for normal cleaning.
See CAUTION below
.
Battery acid, fertilizers, tars, asphalt, creosote, paint, or chewing gum should be removed immediately to pre-
vent possible stains. Because the finish on the vehicle is the same as the finish on today’s automobiles, com-
mercial automotive cleaning products may be used.
The seats of the vehicle will last longer with proper cleaning. Use a solution of 10% liquid dish soap and
warm water applied with a soft cloth. For imbedded dirt, a soft bristle brush may be used. For heavy soiling,
difficult stains or scratches, blemishes, or other body damage, see Section 4 of the Carryall Maintenance and
Service Manual.
ACCESSORIES
All Carryall vehicles have available a complete line of accessory equipment. Contact your distributor/dealer
for an Optional Equipment book. Care should be taken that these accessories are properly installed by
trained technicians, and that they are used in the manner for which they were designed.
