The heat pumps
must be fitted with a filling/top-up sys-
tem connected to the return line and a drain valve in the
lowest part of the system.
Systems containing antifreeze
or covered by specific
legislation must be fitted with low-loss headers.
The manufacturer is not liable for obstruction, breakage
or noise resulting from the f
ailure to install filters
or
vibration dampers.
Particular types of
water used for filling or topping up
must be treated with appropriate treatment systems.
For reference values, see the table.
CONDENSATE DRAIN
The unit is fitted with condensate pan; this must be connect-
ed to a drain system to take away the water that forms, see
the drawing.
If the outside air temperature is less than 0°C, the conden-
sate may gradually freeze.
The unit must be supported on a suitable structure or brack-
ets to keep it off the ground, with a frost protection heater fit-
ted on the drain line.
