END FRAME INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
Assemble the End Frame

After the vertical supports are attached and the concrete

has set, assemble the remainder of the end frame.
•  Mounting bracket (#108506)
•  Tek screws (#FA4482B)
•  Hat Channel (108529)

Complete the following steps:
1.  Using the dimensions on the End Frame Dimensions

diagram, measure and mark the on-center hat channel

locations on each vertical support.

NOTE:

Complete this step by either measuring and

marking the locations on each support, or measuring

and marking the locations on the end rafters and

snapping a chalk line across the supports.

2.  Align the

center

of the first hat channel section with the

previously measured on-center marks. Verify the hat

channel is level and secure it to the vertical supports

using two Tek screws as shown.

3.  Align the center of another

hat channel section

with

the on-center marks to complete the horizontal brace.

Overlap the previously installed section by a minimum

of 4"-6" and secure with Tek screws. Horizontal brace

must be level.

NOTE:

Sections may overlap more than 4"-6".

Consult

the

End Frame Diagrams - Connections

at the back of

these instructions for details if needed

.

4.  Repeat Steps 2-3 to complete the horizontal braces.

Verify that the end of the horizontal brace aligns with

the outside edge of the rafter leg/ground post.

5.  Repeat Steps 2-4 for the remaining brace.
