Cable Sealing
Midspan
1.
On a clean and dry surface,
cut the gasket at the “V” notch
on each side of the gasket.
Cut from the center opening
down the side using a clean,
sharp, and thin blade.
2.
Open the gasket and slip it around your cables.
Note:
Pay attention to the taper of the gasket.
Tapered end should be facing towards the MPT
3.
Press the gasket down into the opening, ensuring
the center of the gasket is down and around the
cable.
