Drying Petals and Herbs
1. Cut the fl owers/herbs in the late afternoon if possible and
not early in the morning as there is then too much moisture
(dew) on them.
2. Please select fl owers or herbs which feel solid and have not
completely opened. Flowers which have opened completely
lose their petals during the drying process. In the case of
herbs you can use both complete stems and individual
leaves.
3. Spread the fl owers thinly over the grid(s).
4. Now proceed as described under points 7 to 8 („Drying Fruit
and Vegetables“).
5. In order to produce a potpourri from your dry petals, store
the dried fl owers or petals in an airtight, sealable container
(preferably made of glass).
Cleaning
1. Always remove the mains lead before cleaning the machine
and wait until it has cooled down.
2. The outside of the machine is cleaned if necessary with a
slightly damp cloth without any additives.
3. The grids can be cleaned as usual in soapy water. Please
do not use any abrasive detergents or scouring agents.
