Weather forecast symbols
The weather station records changes in the air pressure and by using them
together with the temperature and humidity measurements is able to forecast the
weather for the coming 12 to 24 hours over a radius of 30-50 km.
Storm warning
The storm symbol flashes to warn of thunder storms.
Snowfall and frost warning
The snowfall symbol flashes to warn of snowy weather.
The frost warning symbol activates when the outdoor temperature (Channel 1) is
between – 1.9˚C and + 2.9˚C.
Note!
Channel 1 on the transmitter will be used for weather forecasts.
Note!
For the first 12-24 hours after starting the weather station, the readings will
not be steady enough to produce a reliable weather forecast.
Note!
As usual are the prognoses not 100% accurate or reliable but rather
showing the weather trend.
If the weather station is moved to another location it should be restarted:
(especially valid after changes in altitude, e.g. moving from one floor of a tall
building to another floor) Remove the batteries and replace them after 30 seconds,
otherwise the weather station will interpret the change in altitude as a change in
pressure and the forecast will be way off.
