Range
• Place the sensor transmitter within a range of 40 m from the weather station.
The range depends on the material and layout of the building where the
weather station and transmitter are placed, metal and concrete walls can
reduce the range.
• Do not place the transmitter or weather station close to the floor or the ceiling,
it will reduce the range.
• The range can be considerably reduced if the weather station is exposed to
cold because the battery capacity decreases in cold weather.
• Bear in mind that the sensor transmitter’s range is affected both by the material
of the building and the positions of the transmitter and weather station.
• Try different locations.
Installation, mounting
Weather Station
• Select a location for the weather station where it is not exposed to direct
sunlight.
• Check that the weather station is able to receive signals from the sensor
transmitter before completing the final installation. If the signal is weak, choose
another location.
• The weather station has holes in the back for hanging, use these for wall
mounting.
• The weather station also has a table stand on the back, for mounting it on table
or desk tops.
Sensor
• Select a location where the sensor transmitter (or its external sensor) is not
exposed to direct sunlight or rain.
• The transmitter has holes in the back for wall hanging; otherwise you can use
the table stand on the back.
