Important
• The thermometer must not be used in the oven or
microwave.
• Take out the food, bread, etc. from the oven before you
measure the temperature.
• The thermometer is not dishwasher safe.

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general household waste.
This applies throughout the entire EU. In order to
prevent any harm to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
the product must be handed in for recycling
so that the material can be disposed of in
a responsible manner. When recycling the product,
take it to your local collection facility or contact
the place of purchase. They will ensure that
the product is disposed of in an environmentally
sound manner.
1. Unscrew the battery cover.
2. Insert the batteries (included).
Note:
Make sure that they are inserted with the correct
polarity, the positive poles (+) should be turned up towards
the cover.
3. Screw on the cover.
1. Remove the protective cover from the probe.
2. Press [
/HOLD ] to switch the thermometer on.
3. Press [ ºC/ºF ] if you want to switch between ºC and ºF display.
4. Press [
/HOLD ] to switch the thermometer off.
5. Refit the protective cover on the probe.
Information
• Insert the probe at least 2 cm into the food you wish
to measure the temperature of and keep it there until
the measurement on the display has stabilized (approx.
4–10 seconds).
• Press [
/HOLD ] if you want to lock the measurement
on the display while the temperature is being measured.
Press again to return to normal measurement.
• The thermometer automatically switches off after
20 minutes approximately.
• The display backlight automatically switches off after
approx. 15 seconds.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the product, especially the probe, with a soft, damp
cloth after using it. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• The batteries should be replaced when the digits on display
screen start to fade.
