Changing the battery
1. Disconnect the test leads from the multimeter.
2. Turn the function selector to
OFF
.
3. Undo the two screws holding the back
cover on and remove it from the multimeter.
4. Take the battery out of the battery
compartment.
5. Insert a new battery (1 × 9 V/6LR61).
Note the polarity markings on the bottom
of the battery compartment to ensure
correct insertion.
6. Put the battery cover back on and tighten
the screws.
Replacing the fuses
1. Disconnect the test leads from the multimeter.
2. Turn the function selector to
OFF
.
3. Undo the two screws holding the back cover
on and remove it from the multimeter.
4. Replace the fuse/fuses with equivalent
fuses to the one/s you remove.

6 × 25 mm

1 × 200 mA, 250 V, F (fast-blow),
5 × 20 mm
5. Put the battery cover back on and tighten
the screws.
