Setting the alarm
The default alarm setting is 06:00.
1. Hold in the [ AL ] until the hour digits flash, then press [
▲
] or [
▼
] to adjust the hour.
2. Press [ AL ] to confirm and move to the minutes. The minutes digits will flash,
press [
▲
] or [
▼
] to adjust them.
3. Press [ SET ] to save the alarm time setting and return to normal clock mode. If no button
is pressed for 8 seconds, the clock will automatically return to normal clock mode.
4. A single, short press of the [ AL ] button at any time, will activate/deactivate
the alarm. “AL” is shown on the display when the alarm is activated.
Turning off the alarm
The alarm sound for a duration of 2 minutes. The alarm can be turned off before
the 2 minutes has elapsed by:
1. Pressing [ SNOOZE/DIMMER ], the alarm will sound again after 5 minutes or
whatever time has been set (refer to the
Manual time setting
section above).
2. Pressing any button except [ SNOOZE/DIMMER ], will turn the alarm off for
24 hours.
Adjusting the brightness of the display
Short presses of the [ SNOOZE/DIMMER ] button will toggle between the display’s
two brightness levels.
Care and maintenance
Clean the alarm clock using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
The alarm clock loses contact
with the outdoor sensor and
the display shows (- -).
•
Check the batteries in the sensor and replace
if necessary. Hold in [
▲
] until the display
flashes (- -). This means that the alarm clock
is searching for the sensor. Press [ RESET ] on
the outdoor sensor.
•
The signal from the outdoor sensor is
affected by interference from other electrical
devices, furniture or physical structures.
Try moving one or both of the devices.
The alarm clock is functioning
abnormally and/or displaying
strange readings.
•
Press [ RESET ] (12) on the back of the alarm
clock.
