Information
This instruction manual uses the term “TV receiver” which refers
both to an external digital TV receiver and a TV set with built-in
digital TV receiver.
Installation
3. Mount the aerial onto a mast (sold separately) or wall using
appropriate fasteners for the mounting surface.
Connecting the aerial to the power inserter and
the TV receiver
Refer to the instruction manual of your TV receiver to see if you
have this option and if so, how to activate it. This feature may
be found in your TV receiver guide under the title of
“Antenna
power”
,
“5 V”
or
“Active antenna”
or something similar.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Responsible disposal
1. Attach the mast bracket to the aerial.
2. Connect the aerial cable to the
aerial and cover the connection
with the rubber seal. Make sure
that the F-connector is screwed
on tightly and that the seal is
watertight.
1. Connect the aerial
cable to the antenna
input socket (ANT) on
the inserter.
2. Connect the power
inserter cable (TO TV)
to the TV receiver.
3. Connect the AC/DC
mains adapter to the
input socket (DC 6 V)
on the power inserter
and to a 230 V mains
electricity socket.
Using the TV receiver as a power supply (5 V)
In certain cases, the
aerial can be powered
directly by the TV receiver,
depending on what type
of TV receiver is used.
If the TV receiver has a
5 V power outlet socket
to power the aerial with,
a power inserter is not
required.
This symbol indicates that this product should
not be disposed of with general household
waste. This applies throughout the entire EU. In
order to prevent any harm to the environment
or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed
of in a responsible manner. When recycling
your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact the place of purchase. They
will ensure that the product is disposed of in
an environmentally sound manner.
