5.1 Display symbols
Signal strength
Shows the signal strength between the handset and the base station.
Flashes when the handset tries to establish a radio link to the base station.
If this symbol flashes during a call, move closer to the base station.
Battery power indicator
When the symbol shows “almost empty”, place the handset into the charger to
charge the batteries. The symbol will change as the batteries charge.
Call
Displayed during call.
Keypad lock
Shown when the keys are locked.
Alarm
Shown when the alarm is activated.
Flashes when the alarm sounds.
Ringer off
Shown when the handset ring signal is turned off.
Phonebook
Shown when you are in the phonebook menu or when you search in
the phonebook’s memory.
