Make these settings by following the instructions below.

9.1 Changing the PIN code
The PIN code is to prevent the phone from unauthorised use. The preset code
is
0000
. To change the PIN code:
1. Press [
] and use [ ] or [ ] to select
BS SET
.
2. Press [
] and use [ ] or [ ] to select
CHG PIN
.
3. Press [
], and the message “OLD PIN” will appear on the display.
4. Press [
] to enter a new code.
5. Press [
] to confirm.
9.2 Resetting the phone
To reset the phone to its default factory settings:
1. Press [
] and use [ ] or [ ] to select
DEFAULT
.
2. Press [
] and enter the PIN code.
3. Press [
], and the message “CONFIRM” will appear on the display.
4. Press [
] to confirm.
9.3 Registering a handset with a base station
The handset which comes with your base station normally does not need to be registered;
only new receivers that have been bought separately need to be registered.
If the display on the handset shows “UNREGISTERED”, it needs to be registered with
the base station.
1.
In standby mode, press (symbol) once. The display will show “PHONEBOOK”.
2. Press

twice, “REGISTRATION” will show on the display.
3. Press [
], “BASE 1” will be shown. If the handset is already registered to a
base station a “+” sign will be shown to the right of the base station’s name on
the display.
4. Press
▼
to select a number for the base station (BASE 1, 2, 3 or 4).
5. Press [
], “PIN 1” will be shown. Enter the PIN code of the base station.
The preset code for this base station is
0000
.
6. Press [
] to confirm. The search starts and the display shows “SEARCHING x”.
7. Hold the [
] button on the handset in for 10 seconds.
8. When the registration is completed the handset beeps to confirm. The number of
the handset will appear on the display and the indicator on the base station will
shut off.
10. Care and maintenance
Wipe the surface clean using a soft damp cloth. Never use solvents or strong detergents.
