Assembly and setup
Mounting the pedals
1. The right pedal (17) is marked R (right) while the left pedal is marked L (left).
2. Attach the pedals to their respective crank arms (16) using a 15 mm open-ended
spanner.
Note: The right pedal has right-hand threads and the left pedal has
left-hand threads.
3. Grease the threads using an appropriate bicycle grease to simplify any future
removal.
Mounting the handlebars
1. Remove the stem faceplate (6) by
removing the four screws using
a 5 mm hex key.
2. Slot the handlebars (7) into
the rounded handlebar slot on
the stem.
3. Refit the faceplate so that the handlebars are held loosely between the stem and
faceplate.
4. Centre the handlebars in the stem.
5. Twist the handlebars to the desired angle.
6. Tighten the four faceplate screws.
Make sure that all the four faceplate
screws are tightened down equally.
