MAINTENANCE

Proper routine maintenance of the generator will help prolong its life. Please 
perform maintenance checks and operations according the schedules, See 
page 24.

CLEANING THE GENERATOR

Always try to use the generator in a clean, cool, and dry place. When the 
generator becomes dirty, clean the exterior with one or more of the following:

• a  damp  cloth

• a soft brush

• a vacuum cleaner

• compressed air

Never clean the generator with a bucket of water or a hose. Water can get 
inside the generator, causing a short circuit or corrosion.

CAUTION: NEVER PERFORM MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS WHILE THE 
GENERATOR IS RUNNING.
