DIODE TESTING
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION.- When measuring in-circuit diode, make
sure the circuit being tested has all power turned OFF and that all capactors have
been fully discharged.
1. Rotate the probe socket clockwise to extend the probe out the front of the meter.
2. Insert the black test lead or test clip in the
COM
jack.
3. Set the Mode Selector to the Diode “ ” range position.
4. Press the
“FUNC.”
button to switch to the
test.
