Be aware that the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
and state law requires that operators be trained and certified in the safe
operation of lift trucks. It is an OSHA requirement that an inspection of the
lift truck be performed prior to every shift. If you have not been trained (or
need recertification training) for operating or inspecting your lift truck, notify
your supervisor.
CLARK lift trucks are designed and built to handle hard work, but not abuse
from the operator. They are built to be dependable, but are only as safe and
efficient as the operator(s) and person(s) responsible for maintaining them.
Do not make any repairs to this truck unless you have been trained and
authorized to perform safe lift truck repair procedures. For any repair,
maintenance, or any other service work concerning your lift truck, please
contact your CLARK dealer.
