Daily Inspection

Check Horn

Make sure the horn works properly.

Check Emergency Reversal Switch

PWXE

HWXE

Position the control handle to release the brake. Then, with the truck in

NEUTRAL or FORWARD, depress the emergency reversal switch. The truck

should move away from you until you release the switch or apply the brake.

The switch should depress and return easily on its own, without sticking.

WARNING

Perform the following operational checks in a safe area

away from people, equipment, or other obstructions. Do not

operate the truck if you find a problem. Remove the truck

from service and report the problem.
