iPod menu alphabet search
This f u nction searches the s ub folders for
desired alpha b etical letters.
1. Press the [ BAND ] bu tton to select the iPod
men u mode.
2. T u rn the [ ROTARY ] kno b to switch b etween
categories.
3. Press the [ ROTARY ] kno b .

S ub folders may b e displayed, depending on
the category.

u can t u rn the [ ROTARY ] kno b
to switch b etween s ub folders and press the
[ ROTARY ] kno b to enter the next s ub folder
layer.
4. Press and hold the [ ROTARY ] kno b (1 sec.).
5. T u rn the [ ROTARY ] kno b to select the
desired letter to search.
6. Press the [ ROTARY ] kno b to perform
search.

cancel search.
7. Press the [ ROTARY ] kno b on the song list to
select song.

] bu tton to search next song of
the desired letter.
S electing category using preset
memory
1. Press and hold the [ BAND ] bu tton (1 sec.) to
select the iPod men u mode.
The category can b e set as follows in the
[ DIRECT ] (1-6) bu ttons.
[1] : PLAYLISTS
[2] : ARTISTS
[3] : ALBUMS
[4] : SONGS
[5] : GENRES
[6] : COMPOSERS
2. Press the desired [ DIRECT ] (1-6) bu tton to
select the category.

s ub folder.
3. W hen the track name display is showing,
press the [ ROTARY ] kno b .
Play b ack will b egin from the first track in the
selected category, and the iPod men u mode
will b e canceled.

within a category.

After exiting the iPod men u operation mode:
If press the [ BAND ] bu tton, it will ret u rn to the
pre v io u s s ub folder list mode.
If press and hold the [ BAND ] bu tton (1 sec.), it
will ret u rn to the category list mode.
About title display
This u nit s u pports the display of title information
transmitted from a connected iPod.
• Character code information is UTF-8;
displaya b le characters incl u de English
alphan u merics, some sym b ols, and some
u mla u t characters.
• Uns u pported characters will b e replaced b y
asterisks (*).
