Chapter 3 Installing and Configuring the Cisco Digital Media Manager 3.5 Appliance
Perform the following steps to configure the DMM:
Step 1
In your browser, enter the Digital Media Manager URL:
http://<DMM_IPAddress>:8080/DMM/
The DMM Installation Configuration screen appears.
Step 2
Superuser Email field—
Enter an email address for the user who is the DMM superuser.
Step 3
Superuser Password field—
Enter a password for the superuser.
Step 4
Superuser Password Confirm field—
Confirm the password you entered in the superuser password
field.
The password must meet the following conditions:
•
Be at least 6 characters long.
•
Use mixed case (upper and lower).
•
Contain at least one numerical digit.
Step 5
Server Base URL for DMM Application Server—
The DMM will pre-populate this field with the path
in which it was installed. Verify this URL and modify if it is incorrect.
Step 6
Software License Key—
Enter your DMM software license key and validate it by clicking on the orange
Validate button.
Note
To use the Cisco DMS Software, you must activate the software license on the device by entering
the software key when prompted. To obtain the license key:

Or
If a CD shipped with your Cisco hardware device, it may contain the required license file and
instructions for activating the license on your device.
